Knights of the Old Republic: A pair of single player RPGs depicting a Sith war several thousand years before A New Hope. KotOR is widely regarded as the best Star Wars video game ever, and was the framework for BioWare's Mass Effect series. The title of the mod under development is called "Star Wars: Rise of the Shadows." The mod is somewhat based off a fictional timeline setting in the Star Wars universe between Episode 4: A New Hope and Episode 6: Return of the Jedi, but… Mod covers the period of the Galactic Empire and Imperial Remnant. It is focused on improving gameplay, adds lots of unique heroes, new scenarios and game modes. An ancient evil has awakened, and an unlikely group of heroes are all that stand between it and an unexpecting Galaxy. As the title suggests, this is a mini-mod. There are tons of fantastic and ambitious mods for this game, this isn't one of them. I made this mod because I like playing the original game, but there are some annoyances that needs fixing. Our goal is to bring into focus the Legacy Era, but more specifically the Second Imperial Civil War. Play as either the tyrannical Krayt Empire, freedom-seeking Galactic Alliance Remnant or the obscure Confederation Revenant.
