Why can i not download itunes on my laptop

Mar 20, 2009 · my computer was erased a few days ago (i had a bad virus) and now i cant seem to get iTunes to download. i have tried the new iTunes 8.1, the 7.4 and the iTunes 7 several times. it downloads the setup onto my computer and when i click it it takes me to the "run" pop up box, but when i click run, nothing happens.
